Vital Signs fue el 1er disco con Jamison y el disco que les devolvio la popularidad que la banda venia perdiendo , ya que con " Caught in the Game " las cosas no habian ido bien.
Comenzar con " I Can't Hold Back " no podia ser mejor ( en mi top five de las mejores canciones del genero) , seguido de "High on You " otro temazo, escuchar el comienzo de los teclados de Peterik en "Popular Girl" , la emocion transmitida por Jamison en "Everlasting" y la preciosa balada " The Search is Over " , que llego al puesto Nº 4 de los charts.Este disco no solo marco un antes y un despues para Survivor sino que tambien ayudo a consolidar y establecer un genero que es el AOR , rock melodico , rock arena o rock fm o como quieran llamarlo.Track list:
